Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and password. Passwords are stored securely and we can never see them.
• Assessment answers and results: so we can build your program and show your archetype results.
• Program activity: which classes and exercises you've opened and completed.
• Journal entries: anything you choose to write in your journal.
• Settings: such as your reminder preferences.
• Subscription details: your plan and whether it is active. Card and payment details are handled by Paddle and never reach us.

How we use it

We use your information only to run Funded Mentality: to create your account, build and unlock your program, save your progress and journal, manage your subscription, and contact you about your account. If you turn on reminders, we'll email them to you. We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.

We process your data because it's needed to provide the service you signed up for, and, for optional things like reminder emails, because you chose them.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted services to run the site. They only process your data on our behalf:

• Supabase stores your account, program data and journal, and plays the program audio.
• Vercel hosts the website.
• Paddle handles checkout, payments, tax and invoices as our Merchant of Record. Paddle has its own privacy policy for the details you give at checkout.
• Resend sends account and reminder emails.

Some of these services may store data outside your country. Where that happens, they use recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. We may also share information if the law requires it.

Cookies and storage

When you first visit, we ask you to choose between Accept and Essential only. Essential cookies and storage are needed for the site to work, so they are always on. Optional cookies, such as ones that help us understand how the site is used, are only ever used if you choose Accept. We don't sell or share anything for advertising.

The essential ones are:

• Sign-in cookie (from Supabase, names starting with sb-): keeps you signed in to your account. It lasts until you log out or your session expires.
• Checkout cookies (from Paddle, our payment provider): set when you open checkout on the pricing page, to process your payment, prevent fraud and manage your subscription, including helping recover failed payments. See Paddle's own privacy and cookie policy for details.
• Audio position (browser storage): remembers where you stopped in an audio class so you can pick up there.
• Guest assessment (browser storage): remembers an assessment you took before signing up, so it can be linked to your new account.
• Cookie choice (browser storage): remembers whether you chose Accept or Essential only, so we don't ask again.

You can change your choice at any time: Change cookie settings. You can also clear cookies and storage in your browser settings. If you block the sign-in cookie, you won't be able to stay logged in.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your personal data, except for anything we must keep by law, such as billing records.

Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for a particular purpose. Email support@fundedmentality.com and we'll reply within 30 days. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

Your data is stored with access controls so that only you can see your own program, progress and journal. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Age

Funded Mentality is for adults aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger.

Changes

If we change this policy in an important way, we'll let you know by email or on the site.
